Attorneys to discuss landlord-tenant law
Three McQuaide Blasko attorneys are among the faculty for an April 18 continuing-education seminar, "Landlord-Tenant Law - Surviving in a Difficult Economy." Presenting at the Altoona seminar will be:
- Sean Burke, of McQuaide Blasko's Hollidaysburg office, who practices in the areas of real estate law (including landlord-tenant law and leasing), commercial law, litigation, estate planning, and intellectual property law
- Thomas Schrack, of the firm's State College office, who focuses his practice on business and transactional law, taxation, municipal law, and real estate law, particularly leasing, financing transactions, and sales and acquisitions
- John Snyder, of the firm's State College office, who practices primarily in civil litigation, with an emphasis on commercial litigation and labor and employment
The program is designed to alert landlords, property management professionals, real estate agents, and property investors to Pennsylvania's current landlord-tenant laws. Faculty will take a practical approach, beginning with the lease and discussing legal matters through vacancy and re-renting, including step-by-step eviction information.
