A native of Corsica, Pennsylvania, Justin G. Bish concentrates his practice in the areas of civil litigation and veterans law. He handles a wide variety of civil litigation matters, serving both businesses and individuals throughout Central Pennsylvania. As an accredited attorney to practice before the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, he also handles a wide array of veteran and servicemember matters ranging from veterans benefits appeals to employment law and landlord tenant disputes involving servicemembers.
He is a member of the firm’s litigation practice group that represents clients in a variety of employment matters, insurance defense, workers’ compensation defense, and clients in litigation arising from motor vehicle accidents, personal injury, and property damage.
In addition to being an associate in the firm’s litigation practice group at McQuaide Blasko, Mr. Bish currently serves his country as a Field Artillery Officer in the 28th Infantry Division, Pennsylvania Army National Guard. Among other accomplishments, he is a graduate of the Army Airborne School and has served in a number of key assignments in his military career.
Prior to joining McQuaide Blasko in early 2016, Mr. Bish was the co-founder of the Penn State Law Veterans and Servicemembers Legal Clinic where he assisted veterans with veterans benefit appeals before the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Board of Veterans’ Appeals, and U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims. He also assisted veterans on a number of general legal matters.
While in law school, he served as a certified legal intern for the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office representing the Commonwealth in a number of summary appeal trials, arraignments, guilty pleas, probation and parole violations, and sentencings. Mr. Bish also served as a law clerk to a Centre County Court of Common Pleas Judge and as a law clerk to the Ohio Attorney General.
