David Weixel concentrates his practice on real estate law, particularly title insurance, zoning, and real-property related matters. A licensed title agent, he handles title insurance commitments and coverage issues for more than 300 closings each year across Pennsylvania. His clients include individuals, developers, large and small companies, and major institutions.
In addition to title-related work, Mr. Weixel performs general real estate legal work including leases, sales contracts, and realty transfer tax matters. He also has extensive expertise involving gifts of real estate.
Mr. Weixel began his association with McQuaide Blasko as an intern in 1968, while he was still an undergraduate student at Penn State University. After serving as a law clerk to Pennsylvania Commonwealth Court Judge Roy Wilkinson, Jr., he practiced law for McQuaide Blasko in Clinton County and then in State College, Centre County, since 1975.
