A shareholder in the State College office, Chena Glenn-Hart joined McQuaide Blasko in 1999. As a member of the firm’s litigation practice group, she focuses her practice on personal injury and insurance defense, labor and employment law, orphan’s court, and general civil litigation. She has more than 15 years of experience in the courtroom trying cases before juries and judges to verdict and handling matters on appeal. She represents individual and business clients throughout Central Pennsylvania in federal and state court, administrative bodies, and alternative dispute resolution settings.
Chena’s recent accomplishments for clients include:
Successfully defending clients at jury trials, resulting in favorable defense verdicts with no damages awarded to personal injury plaintiffs
Securing favorable verdict for clients, resulting in award of damages for family partnership and stock disputes
Obtaining successful motions for summary judgment, resulting in dismissal of personal injury and contract claims brought against clients
Successfully defending employers against labor grievances under collective bargaining agreements and claims for unemployment compensation benefits
Chena is active in the Pennsylvania Bar Association Civil Litigation Section and currently serves on its council as chair-elect.
